VPD GmbH was created in 2024 as a result of the merger of the companies Vakuum- und Präzisionsteilefertigung Dresden GmbH (founded in 1991) and FAD Fertigungs- und Automatisierungstechnik GmbH (founded in 1998). We are pleased that this allows us to further expand our areas of expertise in the area of product development and manufacturing of vacuum, automation and clamping technology and to create a powerful unit for our customers. By merging the two companies, we can combine our strengths and further optimize our processes for customers and suppliers.
In the areas of turning, milling and grinding technology as well as component assembly, we see ourselves as a powerful partner for our customers. We rely on modern and versatile machinery. From individual to series production, we have stood for the implementation of complex customer requirements in line with requirements for over 34 years.
Research projects provide impetus for innovations and provide valuable insights to improve processes in companies. That is why we regularly participate in practice-oriented research projects.
In doing so, we are constantly working with scientific institutions at TU Dresden, Fraunhofer Research Institutions, ITW e.V. Chemnitz and IKS GmbH Dresden.
